The Early Years

George brought valuable industry experience with previous jobs working for Phillips 66, Treasler Comet & Silver Oil Co and more.

George and Barbara were young, innovative and not afraid to take risks. Hudson Fuel Oil employed new strategies of customer service never seen before by any other heating oil dealer in the Cincinnati, OH market.

George has always been an entrepreneur. His other notable accomplishments include starting up Daniel Boone Campground, New Life Water Company and drilling & operating domestic oil wells in Kentucky. He preaches the need for our country to drill domestically and be energy independent.

In 1998 George and Barbara turned over day-to-day operations of the company to son-in-law, T. David Carter. David has an extensive background in commercial banking and sales, and has guided Hudson Fuel Oil through 6 acquisitions, (Action Fuel Oil, Inc., McFarland Oil Co., Milford Oil Co., Myers & Duckworth, Rogers Oil and Wolf Oil Co.) and expansion of territory.
